For 40 years, Thanks for Giving has been a powerful example of what happens when a community comes together to care for its neighbors. What began as a simple effort to provide Thanksgiving meals decades ago has grown into a beloved tradition that has helped tens of thousands of families and engaged thousands of volunteers across Cobb County.
This legacy exists because people just like you care about our community. Your support guarantees an opportunity for families to create and continue family traditions, to gather with their loved ones and to give thanks in a way that is meaningful to them.
Volunteers are needed this year to help with the following:
• Sorting Food Donations
• Unloading Trucks
• Organizing Donations (boxes, food, etc)
• Quality Control
• Distribution
• Traffic Control
** Minimum age requirement is 14 to volunteer. Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift heavy food boxes frequently. If you want to volunteer but need physical accommodations, please contact us**
