We believe improving family stability enhances community stability. Every family deserves the Thanksgiving tradition of a meal together. Thanksgiving week can be even more financially stressful when students are home from school for more than just the holiday meal.For over 37 years, the Center for Family Resources has helped Cobb County families to build lasting memories and create traditions through our annual Thanks for Giving program. MORE THAN A MEALFor almost 40 years, the Center for Family Resources has been providing families in Cobb County with food for Thanksgiving, but we believe that Thanks for Giving is more than a meal. It is an opportunity for families to create and continue family traditions, to gather with their loved ones and to give thanks in a way that is meaningful to them.Volunteers are needed this year to help with the following:• Sorting Food Donations• Unloading Trucks• Organizing Donations (boxes, food, etc)• Quality Control• Distribution• Traffic Control** Minimum age requirement is 14 to volunteer...
