MORE THAN A MEAL
For more than 36 years, the Center for Family Resources has been providing families in Cobb County with food for Thanksgiving, but we believe that Thanks for Giving is more than a meal. It is an opportunity for families to create and continue family traditions, to gather with their loved ones and to give thanks in a way that is meaningful to them.
Volunteers are needed this year to help with the following:
• Sorting Food Donations
• Unloading Trucks
• Organizing Donations (boxes, food, etc)
• Quality Control
• Distribution
• Traffic Control
** Minimum age requirement is 14 to volunteer. Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift heavy food boxes frequently**

In Support of The Center for Family Resources
We are a Cobb County-based organization that works exclusively to serve local children and their families that are either homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. We provide tailored, long term supportive services to our clients. Our vision is for children and their families to experience improved stability through reduced homelessness, empowerment, and pathways that support their success.
