Celebrate 40 Years of Neighbors Helping Neighbors!
For four decades, Thanks for Giving has united our community to ensure local families can gather around the table with dignity and hope during the Thanksgiving season. What began as a small effort has grown into one of Cobb County's most cherished traditions, providing holiday meals to tens of thousands of families with the support of thousands of dedicated volunteers. But Thanks for Giving is about more than food—it helps families preserve treasured holiday traditions, create meaningful memories with loved ones, and experience the care of a community that stands beside them during difficult times. As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we invite you to be part of this extraordinary legacy. Whether you're returning or volunteering for the first time, your time and compassion will help make this milestone year our most impactful yet.

Volunteers are needed this year to help with the following:
Registration
Unloading  Donations from Cars & Trucks
Processing Food Donations (receiving, sorting, and boxing)
Quality Control
Distribution
Traffic Control
Set up & Break Down

** Minimum age requirement is 14 to volunteer. Must be able to stand for periods of time and lift heavy food boxes frequently; however, if you want to volunteer and need accommodations, please reach out to us.**
