The "Stand for Shelter" campaign is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to support homeless individuals and those in temporary shelters. This initiative aims to provide essential resources, safe shelter, and services that promote long-term stability and self-sufficiency for those in need.
A Look into the Short-term (shelter) Program:
The Shelter Clients get put into a fully furnished unit: Sheets, towels, pots & pans, & all those things are provided (if needed) so that they don't have anything they really need to worry about. The Short-Term Housing (Shelter) Program has increased greatly in the past few years and the need for help continues to be great. As of today, the program is 30-day, a rapidly paced program, but it allows clients to quickly put some options in place to land them in a better place.
