Tri-House

The Tri-House is inspired by the rolling Blue Ridge mountains of North Georgia, taking their shape with the use of the A-frame Construction Style. Historically, the A-frame construction style was born out of practicality: simple to construct, cost-effective and often assembled by the owner to be used as a vacation home. Its triangular structure is well suited for the remote locations where we often find peace; the wooden frame and interior create a space to feel at home away from home. Neutral and natural colors are used to complement the outdoor environment for the users. The design includes a small tunnel to travel inside the playhouse and a ladder to access the top deck and the detachable slide. The design also includes a semi-transparent overhead door to provide natural daylight into the space. When open, the door also provides shade and cover that extend beyond the playhouse, creating a communal space for parents and children alike. Designed by CDH and built by Lexdyn. Auction winners can choose to purchase the playhouse for themselves or gift the house to one of our nonprofit partners. This year’s nonprofit recipients are Make-A-Wish® Georgia, LiveSafe Resources, Sheltering Arms and Calvary Children’s Home.
