Chasing the Rainbow
Inspired by sandbox games where through imagination we create our own worlds and experiences, this playhouse relies on a simple repetitive construction that integrates whimsy and structure into one. The altered sequencing of colorfully stained lumber creates a dynamic form encouraging child-like wonder and an embracing interior space suitable for all children’s activities. Curvilinear layers stack with varied spaces to draw breezes through as it ascends towards the sun culminating in a skylight facilitating natural light throughout the day. This house comes with cushion seats and pillows to make the interior cozy, along with some favorite children's stories.

Auction winners can choose to purchase the playhouse for themselves or gift the house to one of our nonprofit partners. This year’s nonprofit recipients are Make-A-Wish® Georgia, LiveSafe Resources, Sheltering Arms and Calvary Children’s Home.
